The Mind’s Unlimited Potential – Intro

It’s well known that the vast majority of people only use a fraction of their brain’s potential. In fact, it’s fair to say that we don’t really know the full extent of our minds’ capabilities. We’ve all heard stories about the amazing mental feats of geniuses in various fields, of ‘idiot savants’, and of those who specialise in areas such as prodigious memory feats, mental arithmetic, and other intellectual party tricks.

And beyond the rational intellect, lies the realm of psychic powers: telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, remote viewing, psi powers etc, as well as the range of fascinating phenomena associated with various altered states of consciousness (ASCs), such as out of body experiences, lucid dreaming, shamanism and much more.

On a more day to day level, your state of mind is also responsible for your feelings of well-being, self-esteem, relationships with others, and your level of success in creating the life you desire. There is a huge range of ‘self-help’ tools available to improve this aspect of your mind’s functioning.

So, there are many facets to the mind. And as humans we are all gifted with an amazing, awesome, top-of-the-range mind, totally free of charge! If you’re not convinced that yours is anything to shout about, you’ll hopefully know differently after reading some of the material in this section, and trying a few techniques for yourself. I believe that we can all, without exception, learn to tap into the vast potential powers of our minds, and experience things that may generally be considered ‘impossible’, or at best limited to only a chosen few.

Whether you’re looking to improve how you function in daily life, or explore dazzling multi-dimensional altered states of consciousness (drug-free!), you’re sure to find some helpful pointers amongst the articles in the ‘Consciousness Exploration‘ and ‘Self-Development‘ categories.
